Reporting to the Sales Manager
Role Purpose
Whilst maintaining supportive team relationships for the overall good of Aqueduct Marina’s P+L you will, in line with relevant service level agreements, optimise sales across all Aqueduct Marina departments with a specific focus (80%) on Brokerage sales.
Relevant training provided.
Key Accountabilities
Delivery of Sales including administrational tasks such as the production of brokerage information sheets, videos, and pictures, performing to KPI’s set by the Sales Manager.
Managing of Brokerage sales processes and utilisation of current systems including Act. This includes utilising the sales funnel process i.e., taking a customer from enquiry to sale.
Accountable for acquiring and signing up vendors to brokerage agreements.
Coordinate sales effort with team members and other departments.
Communicate proactively to existing and potential customers by providing information on products and services across all the marina’s activities.
Optimise sales and brand awareness at events and exhibitions to promote the Marinas activities.
Accountable for the timely processing of payments relating to such things as deposits for boats.
Provide marketing with all relevant information in order for them to actively promote Brokerage services.
Build and maintain relationships with clients and prospects.
Collect and analyse information, prepare data, and produce sales reports.
Identifies service improvements or new products by remaining current on industry trends, market activities, and competitors.
Contacting prospective clients through a variety of mediums – this could include reaching out on social media, phoning, emailing, or meeting in person.
Daily Tasks
Check Brokerage ‘Buyers’ and ‘Sellers’ pipelines.
Reply to customer enquiries.
List boats on the website, apollo duck etc.
Update the status of boats listed on the website.
Arrange and complete boat valuations.
Reply to and arrange boat viewings.
Compile, complete and issue brokerage contracts to be e-signed.
Weekly Tasks
Update weekly Operations KPI figures on Traction Tools software.
Attend weekly sales team meetings.
Email ‘new boats listed’ to contacts on the Brokerage mailing list.
Email customers 12-month service reminders and 18 month blacking reminders.
Monthly Tasks
Do monthly ‘card drop’ across sections of the canal system.
Prepare sales reports as directed by the Sales Manager.

+2 Years of proven sales experience.
Expected
Experience in using a CRM system to track prospects as well as ongoing sales.
A proven track record of proactively generating sales.
Good IT skills and knowledge of using MS Office software

Nice to Have
Boating knowledge.
Experience in using sage accounts and/or Kudo’s systems.
Experience of ACT! CRM software.

Reporting to the Operations Manager.
You will be working as part of a busy team of 12 people across all the areas of the Boatyard department, assisting the boat moving yard team, marine engineers, fabrication team, boat painting and Chandlery shop as the workload requires.
You will gain a broad range of knowledge and skills about diesel engines, heating and electrical systems in boats as well as welding, stores and the use of IT systems that support the operation of the yard. As a busy yard you will also learn team working and the ability to think for yourself and problem solve.
All necessary PPE, tools and overalls will be provided, you will have a mentor and line manager to oversee your safety and wellbeing.
The role will involve working outdoors, and around water in all weather.
The normal hours are 8.00am – 5.00pm, Monday to Friday, with a 1hr lunch break, with some weekend working required as the workload and season require.
The rate of Pay is the national minimum wage for the first 3 months increasing by 5% after a successful 3-month appraisal.
Role Purpose
Assist with key boatyard activities such as Boat moves, Hull Painting and General tidying of the yard and workshop areas.
Key Accountabilities
Identify and respond appropriately to a broad range of internal/external customer needs.
Keep themselves and others safe with the marina, boat yard and workshop environments including whilst working near water and working at height, by complying with relevant guidance, practices, instructions, and information.
Maintain environmental good practice by ensuring decisions, actions and tasks undertaken comply with relevant environmental and sustainability guidance, instructions, and information.
Respond safely and efficiently to emergencies and incidents (for example fire, person in water, pollution) in accordance with relevant guidance, instructions, and information.
Follow appropriate procedures for accidents that may occur, accurately record, and detail information about the accident and provide relevant first aid (once trained) in accordance with authority provided and relevant information and guidance.
Communicate effectively with customers and other members of staff and visitors to the site using appropriate, clear, and engaging communication.
Prepare, lift, move, and/or store vessels in accordance with relevant guidance and information.
Use and operate marina/ boatyard equipment, machinery, etc., safely, and efficiently within their area of responsibility (for example, boat handling and moving equipment, vessel support equipment, maintenance equipment) in accordance with manufacturers and other relevant guidance and information.
Perform routine maintenance on the marina/boatyard facilities within any wider site, as required (for example, facilities building, marina pontoons) in accordance with appropriate maintenance schedules, relevant guidance, and information, using appropriate machinery and equipment.
Clean vessel hulls safely and to required standards following relevant guidance and information.
Complete necessary documentation for tasks planned and undertaken within own area of responsibility and in accordance with relevant guidance and information.

Role Purpose
Whilst maintaining supportive team relationships for the overall good of Aqueduct Marina’s P+L, you will support the Operations Manager with: Sales, Pricing and Scheduling of all Boating Services.
Provide estimates for work, and book in service and repair work for our customers’ boats
Keep our customers fully informed of all available extras, accessories, and value products, whilst maximizing the opportunity to upsell
Key Responsibilities
Provide a knowledgeable, responsive, and efficient service
Manage all Boating services telephone, email and walk-in enquiries
Meet and greet customers, qualify work, and identify customer’s additional needs
Continuously seek to improve customer service feedback by identifying service improvement opportunities within the aftersales department and sharing any customer feedback with the management team
Ensure customer expectations and requirements are identified, and successfully managed, throughout the service process including follow up
Facilitate the efficient operation of the aftersales department workshop, booking work accurately, gathering and sharing all relevant information with the team
Efficiently manage customer communication through repairs with timely progress updates and gaining authorisation for additional work
Conduct telephone activity to maximise workshop activity with Boat Safety, Blacking and Service reminder calls etc.
Maintain knowledge of retention products and services upselling where appropriate
To discuss and up-sell additional work to the customer, where appropriate
Be transparent and conduct efficient handovers fully explaining repairs and invoices for customers

Check CRM and Pipeline from initial enquiry through to customer confirmation.

Liaise with Boating Service manager regarding upsell opportunities and feedback calls.
