Establishing the Marina in 2009 along with his wife Andrea and the support of their three children, Robert is the Owner and Managing director for you and your boat. Robert takes an active role in the wider Marine sector, he sits on the Board of British Marine, and The Yacht Harbour Association Council, he is also Certified Marina Manager (CMM). Out of hours Robert enjoys Tennis, Park Runs, and more recently golf and is also a Manchester United Season ticket Holder.
Send us a messageBecause behind every successful man is a successful woman part of the board, Andrea is also an Owner at Aqueduct Marina and the Human Resource Director. Between ensuring that the family get to their destinations each day to college and school etc, as part of her day to day Andrea is responsible for maintaining business direction and ensuring all crew members are well looked after within the business. Andrea is currently embarking on a CIPD HR level 3 course run through Stafford University. In her spare time, whilst not looking after her second crew at home Andrea enjoys volunteering for British Riding Clubs which can mean anything from making tea at club level or fence judging at national championships!
Send us a messageTaking the position of first mate, Phil is the Marina and Operations Director at Aqueduct Marina. Splitting his time between departments, Phil works as part of the board in the bringing about of company objectives and works alongside the team to ensure customers’ requirements are met and the marina continues to develop to meet customers needs. Phil started as an Apprentice and qualified as a City & Guilds and BMEEA Electrician whilst working in the operations department. During his time Phil was involved in all aspects of operations and was then asked to join the newly formed board in 2016. Outside of work, Phil is a keen golfer and enjoys spending his time on the UK's many golf courses along with attending various sporting events. He is also a keen Manchester City supporter.
Send us a messageBusiness Support Manager - Sarah manages the accounts including invoicing and banking and is also a clerk to the Board. Sarah has worked for Aqueduct Marina for twelve years (since before the marina opened) and has Aqueduct Marina business knowledge second to none. Sarah is currently studying towards completing an AAT accounting qualification and a whizz on Sage Accounts.
Send us a messageCustomer Service and Facilities Manager - Nick has over 14 years’ experience working on the canals, having started out with British Waterways in 2003. With over 10 years’ in boat sales, Nick offers a wealth of experience and knowledge working at the Aqueduct Marina since 2011. Nick has also earned his British Marine Boat Sales qualification in recognition of 10 years within the industry. A natural talent at the helm, Nick is often found using his skills to demonstrate boats on the marina and quite happy to do so whatever the weather! When not at work Nick can be found outside, normally down at the stables or maybe looking after his daughter Elise and son Teddy. An approachable character who enjoys relaxing outside the hustle and bustle of daily life. Whatever you may need you can always come and speak to Nick.

Sallie is your main point of contact for all sales enquiries. Send us a messageIn charge of the boat yard operations, as Assistant Operations Manager, Alex spends much of his time working in the boat yard removing boats from the water, gantry lifting and keeping the storage area in tip top condition. He is also Hodge Clemco certified in grit blasting and spraying. A friendly face and keen petrol/car fanatic at heart, outside of work Alex can be found either underneath the bonnet of a car or installing new parts to his van.

Send us a messageA life time in engineering and narrowboats Rob is the Senior Marine Engineer at Aqueduct Marina completing the most laborious aspects of boat maintenance work including welding, fabrication and over-plating. Formerly RJ Marine and Audlem Boats, Rob has a long history with canal boats (25 years to be exact!) and is the oracle for all those items which need fixing in a canal boat. Outside of work Rob is a keen guitarist playing in a band called 'The Emperors of the North'.
Send us a messageWith over 15 years’ experience in the industry, building boats for 10, Will has been working as a Marine Engineer for the marina for approximately 7 years. Completing NVQs in vehicle body building, welding and grinding Will has a vast amount of experience in boat building from fitting out through to boat painting. He is also Webasto and Eberspächer trained. Outside of work Will likes to spend time with his son Jenson and has a keen passion for cars. He is also a keen follower of Rob Adair's band 'The Emperor's of the North'.
Send us a messageSpray painter and boat yard assistant - Paul is an accomplished spray painter and is a vital part of our painting process, helping to prep, paint and finish boats through our painting process. A passion for restoring things when outside of work Paul can be found refurbishing cars.

Starting at just the tender age of 14, there is very little that Jonny does not know about painting boats specialising, in cabin painting and full repaints. A likeable character, when outside of work Johnny can be found spending time with his family on his boat or taking in the Welsh scenery in Llangollen on his motor cross bike.

Completing a catering course at South Cheshire College, outside of work Joanne enjoys spending time with her two daughters, travelling, swimming, cooking and taking her dog Ted for walks.

A familiar face from around the marina Woody can always be spotted shovel in hand or wheelbarrow in tow cutting the grass, maintaining the hedgerow and keeping the flower beds at their best. If anyone has green thumbs it is certainly Woody!
