Nestled into the Cheshire Countryside on the Middlewich Branch which perfectly joins the Shropshire Union, Trent and Mersey Canals together. The Four Counties and Cheshire Rings offer everything you would need to enjoy your Share Weeks. You can go either clockwise or anticlockwise, that’s entirely your choice. From rolling countryside, to villages and cities, it’s all on the rings. The Llangollen canal that joins the Shropshire Union Canal is only 11/2 hours cruise away. Start your adventure from Aqueduct Marina upto the basin at the very top. This canal is lusciously green and tranquil all year round. Hold tight across the Pontcysyllte Aqueduct .

For the engineering members of any Share Boat Group the Anderton Boat Lift and Visitor Centre is just over a day away from Aqueduct Marina. Take your boat onto the lift, experience the feeling of flying holding the Tiller as the lift takes you down onto the delectable River Weaver. We are only 6 1/4 Locks away from the Bridgewater Canal which takes you to the heart of Castlefield in Manchester. Passing through the tunnel at Preston Brook takes you all the way in lock free. Enjoy a great day in Manchester then head back and swing right, heading to Worsley and then onto Liverpool. The Bridgwater is nice and wide, well maintained with hundreds of places to moor up.

At Aqueduct Marina we have everything to make your Share Boat weeks into the finest of times. We have our own dedicated boat Cleaning Team and Turn Around Engineers 6 days a week. Also have a Engineers and Fabricators in our Workshops that can handle any Winter works you may need completing.
