Nimue is a beautifully maintained 60ft traditional narrowboat, built in 2009 with a reliable Gardner 2LW engine (2,731 hours). The engine was refurbished by Charles Mills and has been regularly serviced, with the next service scheduled for March 2025. The boat features a Newage PRM 260 D2 gearbox, 300L front and 170L aft fuel tanks, and was last blacked in 2024 with 2-pack epoxy. While it doesn’t have a bowthruster, the facility is available for installation.
Inside, Nimue offers excellent insulation with spray polyurethane foam and an interior finished in American light oak, with engineered oak flooring throughout. The Pullman dinette seats four, and the galley boasts Star Galaxy granite worktops, a Heritage Uno diesel range, a 12V Shoreline fridge/freezer, and a Zanussi Aquacycle washing machine. The boat has a 364L holding tank with a pump-out toilet and a TreMercati Thermo shower.
Externally, Nimue features freshly repainted exterior (2024) with solid brass porthole windows and side doors in the saloon, galley, and engine room. It also has bow and foredeck lockers for storage.
