Grandpa’s Retreat is a well-maintained 60ft semi-traditional narrowboat, built by Narrowboats of Stafford in 2010 and cherished by her first owner. Offering a comfortable 2 + 2 berth layout, she combines practical cruising with a warm, homely interior featuring oak fit-out, a Morso Squirrel stove and Webasto diesel central heating.
The well-equipped galley includes a four-burner hob, oven, grill, microwave, fridge/freezer and washer/dryer, while the large quadrant shower and Jabsco macerator pump-out toilet provide added convenience. Propulsion comes from a dependable Beta 43 engine with 1,700 hours and recent servicing.
Recent blacking was completed in March 2025. She also benefits from a 500-litre stainless-steel water tank, 3kW inverter and LED lighting. The bow thruster is currently non-operational, offering an opportunity for attention by the new owner.
