Establishing the Marina in 2009 along with his wife Andrea and the support of their three children, Robert is the Owner and Managing director for you and your boat. Robert takes an active role in the wider Marine sector, he sits on the Board of British Marine as President-Elect, The Yacht Harbour Association Council, he is also Certified Marina Manager (CMM). Out of hours Robert enjoys Tennis, Park Runs, and more recently golf and is also a Manchester United Season ticket Holder.

Because behind every successful man is a successful woman, part of the board, Andrea is also an Owner at Aqueduct Marina and the Human Resource Director. As part of her day to day Andrea is responsible for maintaining business direction and ensuring all crew members are well looked after within the business. Andrea has completed her CIPD HR level 3 course run through Stafford University. In her spare time, whilst not looking after her second crew at home Andrea enjoys volunteering for British Riding Clubs which can mean anything from making tea at club level or fence judging at national championships!

Taking the position of first mate, Phil is the Chief Operations Officer at Aqueduct Marina. Splitting his time between departments, Phil works as part of the board in the bringing about of company objectives and works alongside the team to ensure customers’ requirements are met and the marina continues to develop to meet customers needs. Phil started as an Apprentice and qualified as a City & Guilds and BMEEA Electrician whilst working in the operations department. During his time Phil was involved in all aspects of operations and was then asked to join the newly formed board in 2016. Outside of work, Phil is a keen golfer and enjoys spending his time on the UK's many golf courses along with attending various sporting events. He is also a keen Manchester City supporter.

Business Support Manager - Sarah manages the accounts including invoicing and banking and is also a clerk to the Board. Sarah has worked for Aqueduct Marina since before the marina opened and has Aqueduct Marina business knowledge second to none. Sarah has completed an AAT accounting qualification and a whizz on Sage Accounts.

Leisure Manager - Nick has over 20 years’ experience working on the canals, having started out with British Waterways in 2003. With over 10 years’ in boat sales, Nick offers a wealth of experience and knowledge working at the Aqueduct Marina since 2011. Nick has also earned his British Marine Boat Sales qualification in recognition of 10 years within the industry. A natural talent at the helm, Nick is often found using his skills to demonstrate boats on the marina and quite happy to do so whatever the weather! When not at work Nick can be found outside or looking after his daughter Elise and son Teddy. An approachable character who enjoys relaxing outside the hustle and bustle of daily life.

Richard is the Sales & Marketing Manager, with his Team deliver all the marketing activity you see and progress sales throughout the whole business.

In charge of the boat yard operations, as Boat Services Manager, Alex spends much of his time working in the boat yard, organising and scheduling work, managing our workshop team, quality controlling all work, removing boats from the water, gantry lifting and keeping the storage area in tip top condition. He is also Hodge Clemco certified in grit blasting and spraying. A friendly face and keen petrol/car fanatic at heart, outside of work Alex can be found either underneath the bonnet of a car or installing new parts to his van.

Tom is our Chandlery Manager and takes care of all of the stock control and the logistics of the Chandlery. Pop in to see him for all your narrowboat part needs. Outside of work, Tom can be found adding to his large collection of tattoos and spending time with his girlfriend Scarlett!

Joseph is our Service Advisor and after Completing his Level 3 College Course in Agricultural Engineering, he is now responsible for all Retail Work being estimated. He has a great knowledge of boats and once the work is being undertaken will update customers with videos of the progress of the job. If you boat has a problem, Joseph is the guy to contact.

Faith is our Marketing Assistant and has a Professional Diploma in Digital Marketing and leads the Team across social media outlets.

Hannah is our Marketing Executive who works with our Sales Team to deliver you the best customer experience possible!

Molly-Jo is our Welcome Host and is the first smile you will see as you walk in. Molly-Jo can assist with any enquiry you have and point you in the right direction!

Denise works in our Chandlery! Whatever your requirements are for your narrowboat, pop over and see Denise, she will be more than happy to help! She is always stocked up with treats for your four-legged friends!

Matt is the Facilities Supervisor. He looks after all things Health & Safety and is very often completing tasks around the marina.

With over 15 years’ experience in the industry, building boats for 10, Will has been working as at for the marina for approximately 12 years and is now our Welding Supervisor. Completing NVQs in vehicle body building, welding and grinding Will has a vast amount of experience in boat building from fitting out through to boat painting. He is also Webasto and Eberspächer trained. Outside of work Will enjoys spending time with his son Jenson, his girlfriend and their family.

Jordan is our engineering supervisor and is usually on a different boat every time you see him, repairing and servicing engines. With a passion for vintage engines, he is always on hand to help, if you see him give him a wave!

Phill is part of our Boat Services team and is one of our engineers.

Dan is our blasting and spraying supervisor. Often found in our blasting and spraying workshops. Outside of work Dan is a keen fisherman and is Dad to two little boys.

Dennis works within our Welding and Fabrication workshop.

A life time in engineering and narrowboats Rob is the Senior Marine Engineer at Aqueduct Marina completing the most laborious aspects of boat maintenance work including welding, fabrication and over-plating. Formerly RJ Marine and Audlem Boats, Rob has a long history with canal boats (25 years to be exact!) and is the oracle for all those items which need fixing in a canal boat. Outside of work Rob is a keen guitarist.

Anthony is a key part of the Boat Moving Team with his company vehicle - The Tractor.

Our Café Manager, Kelly, has lots of fabulous ideas and has been running the café brilliantly. Please pop in and see Kelly and the team for a delicious coffee or snack - the menu is always changing!

A man with much talent is our trusted groundsman Woody. A familiar face from around the marina Woody can always be spotted shovel in hand or wheelbarrow in tow cutting the grass, maintaining the hedgerow and keeping the flower beds at their best. If anyone has green thumbs it is certainly Woody!

Tricia is our accounts assistant and is our go-to for invoices!

Naomi is our weekend receptionist, who will be here to help with all of your enquiries on a Saturday and Sunday. Naomi also owns a boat and enjoys travelling the waterways with her husband, Mick.
