We are extremely delighted to announce that Aqueduct Marina has retained it’s FIVE GOLD ANCHOR status as awarded by TYHA.

We would like to take this opportunity to thank our staff who have all contributed towards us achieving and now retaining this high standard.

This accolade is achieved through a site assessment of specific items across six evaluation categories which are:

On Water facilities and infrastructure
On Shore facilities and infrastructure

In addition to this a berth holder survey is also conducted.

Once the assessor has completed their evaluation and report an accreditation recommendation is put to either TYHA or MIA Gold Anchor Standards Panels for approval. Aqueduct Marina – Voted Inland Marina of the Year 2019

Aqueduct Marina is immensely proud to announce that we have been awarded TYHA Inland Marina or the Year 2019, sponsored by Towergate insurance. This prestigious award was given out at the 2019 Southampton Boat Show and is open to over 160 Gold Anchor accredited marinas split over four categories (UK Inland, UK coastal, International and Superyacht).

This is the forth time Aqueduct Marina has been selected for the award which is made all the more meaningful as it is voted for by berth holders and customers alike. We won’t however be resting on our laurels and plan to keep pushing the Marina forward over the next 12 Months and beyond in order to make sure that we continue to offer our customers the best boating experiences and more time to enjoy those experiences.

Philip Langley, Marina and Operations Director at Aqueduct Marina, commented: “Aqueduct Marina is extremely thrilled and honoured to be awarded Inland Marina of the Year 2019, especially as this honour is selected by popular vote. This is the perfect way to cap off our 10th anniversary year and the award really belongs to our fantastic staff, who work tirelessly to make sure our customers get the best boating experience possible. Inland Marina of the Year 2018/19

Inland Marina of the Year

This is the third consecutive year Aqueduct Marina has won this prestigious award which is all the more special as its voted for by our berth holders.

Aqueduct marina is a modern facility offering extensive services to a wide range of clients with individual needs. It’s the marina’s vision to create a “Hotel for Boats” experience so that customers spend less time on problems and more time on leisure.

We achieve this experience by having an extensive array of services, facilities and knowledgeable staff on one site and by embracing our companies’ key values of being Dynamic, aspirational and engaging. The onsite café, chandlery and meeting room are available to berth holders as well as the public. These key recreational facilities are a major part of the customers experience and serve as a self-defined benchmark for the level of hosting Aqueduct offer. Moorers at the marina also receive a discount for services such as the café, maintenance and amenities like the local Spa hotel. Fee advice or guidance is also a major part of what the marina does, and we operate an open-door policy to encourage clients to engage with our predominantly time served team who can often say that they have known both client and boat for several years.

One example of this is the recent Moorers focus groups we ran where Moorers could come and have a complementary breakfast whilst talking to staff about their experiences, issues and boating aspirations. We have recently also introduced a monthly Moorers coffee mornings to help Moorers meet fellow boaters and share their experiences.

We pride ourselves on everything from a friendly welcome to a well fabricated piece of steel work and believe strongly that our clients trust our experienced team with one of their most important assets… their leisure time.

Overall our Marina provides the relaxed and safe environment. We achieve this each and every day with a team of helpful and knowledgeable staff who genuinely care for both the short and long term demands of all our customers.

Robert Parton (Managing Director) commenting on this years award said: “Aqueduct Marina is delighted and flattered to be awarded a Marina of the Year award, especially as it is selected by popular vote. We thank everyone who voted and look forward to meeting our existing, new and returning customers during this our 10th anniversary year, culminating on 13 July with our Aqueduct Boat show and party. All welcome”

Philip Langley (Marina and Operations Director) also said: “The board would like to take this opportunity to especially thank the fantastic staff here at the marina, without them none of this would be possible. The level of detail and effort the staff go to is amazing and undoubtedly this is a major part of the marina’s success”
