Were glad to announce that the marina will be continuing to operate and all of our general services will be available to meet you’re boating needs whilst your away; to help everyone understand how we can do this, here is a guide to accessing our services from the 5th of November until 2nd of December.
Reception
Our reception will continue to be manned 7 days a week during normal office hours, although the doors will be closed and access will not be possible in person. All of your enquiries will be taken at our reception as normal by phoning 01270 525 040 or e-mailing info@aqueductmarina.co.uk
Engineering
All our workshops will be continuing to work through our pre-booked workload and new requests.
This includes: servicing, winterising, fabrication, blacking, painting and any other general work. We will contact you directly with updates regarding existing work and you can contact reception as normal to request new work. Due to the lockdown all new work enquiries will be responded to in the first instance by phone and thereafter handled at distance with the aid of reports, pictures and videos as work progresses to completion.
Brokerage
Our brokerage will continue to be available through many mediums; we will be advertising online, speaking by phone and using online chat facilities to keep in touch with both buyers and sellers.
But unfortunately, we do not expect boat viewings to be allowed in person; to make up for this we’ll be filming individual videos, taking personal pictures and taking bookings for post lockdown visits.

Chandlery
Will remain open throughout lockdown to supply our workshops with parts and to provide essential items for those who require them; this include diesel, coal and pump-out services in addition to items which can be purchased via a call and collect system.
Moorings & Storage
Although you will not be able to visit your boat in person for none-essential activities; access can be made available should you have an essential need to do so. You will need to inform us prior to visiting the site.
Electric Meters
As you are unable to visit, we would like to offer you the opportunity to register for a free meter checking service. Once registered we will start checking periodically from 9th of November until further notice; to be added to the checklist please contact reception. Charges for the electrical credit will then be charged to your account and payment requested by invoice.
Toilets, Showers & Laundry
Will remain open throughout lockdown and will continue to be cleaned on a daily basis. Access to washing machine tokens for those who require them will be available using a call and collect service.
As ever we will be monitoring the latest Government announcements and advice from trade organisations bodies such as British Marina so that we can update you with the most accurate information.
