Help support the Aqueduct Marina team as we take on the North West ‘Tough Mudder’ (yikes!) challenge. On Saturday 9th September we will be pushing ourselves through 12 miles of mud, sweat and tears, working together to conquer 20 punishing obstacles and helping to raise awareness and funds in the fight against muscle – wasting conditions.
We will be taking on Tough Mudder (yikes!), arguable the UK’s most challenging obstacle run, in the hope that we raise as much money as possible to help drive forward research into finding a treatment for the rare condition, inclusion body myositis (IBM).
The team of brave warriors include Robert Parton, Peter Smith, Chris Moran, Nick Beech, Bernie McCrae, Sarah Rayner, Holly Critchley, Phil Langley, Matt Simpson, Alex Bebbington and Lewis Martin.
The course features some of the deepest, darkest mud and dense forest in all the UK and takes place over 10 – 12 miles with over 20 not-for-the-faint-hearted obstacles, including the artic enema icy plunge, Everest pipe, the block-ness monster rotating barrier and the pyramid scheme incline!
