Blacked & Anodes Replaced – April 2025
Chateau Neuf is a 57ft Traditional narrowboat with a mid-engine room and boatman’s cabin. Constructed by renowned Boat Builder by Les Wilson, its a simple but quality boat with beautiful lines and a comfortable well considered interior.
Fitted with a Beta Marine JD3 Tug engine, there is a sense of the traditional with the convenience of a relatively modern engine platform that enables a turn-key approach to ownership of a traditionally styled narrowboat… And there’s also a very 21st century bow-thruster installed too!
Originally built as a liveaboard, Chateau Neuf has most modern conveniences; which include both a 1.8Kw Inverter for silent night time power and a 3.5Kw Travel Power Generator to run big appliances such as installed Candy studio washing machine.
The boatman’s cabin has all of the usual features you would expect, its not a replica but does include a heritage stove ideal for keeping you warm at the helm on a cold day. There’s also a pull-down bed and its not the main accommodation.
After the engine room the interior becomes modern with a fixed double bed, off-set bathroom with cassette WC, galley and living area with a fitted sofa bed. All together this boat can sleep up to 6-people.
This one owner boat is more than capable of fulfilling long-term cruising needs or just being a practical holiday retreat whilst retaining some heritage and character.
Chateau Neuf is looking for a loving new with character and charisma to match, if you would like further information on the boat or would like to book an appointment to view, please use the form below or call the office on 01270 525 040
We’ll be at Crick Boat Show (3–26 May)! Come chat with us about this boat and others for sale – plus see Knights No.39 and Ovation Boat No.25 on the water!
